Student Health Requirements

View the student requirements which include a full list of health requirements, information on getting started and uploading your documents, and a list of FAQs. The guidelines also include deadlines for each cohort to meet the health requirements. The requirements for undergraduate BSN students can be found here.

If you are a new student just beginning the Nursing program, please complete the DePaul Health Requirements prior to your first day of classes. Additional CastleBranch instructions are found in the student health requirements guidelines found above.

Please be advised that DePaul University no longer offers student health insurance plans. We recommend that students review the information on this website which covers health insurance options in the Illinois Marketplace. It is extremely important that all MENP and Nurse Practitioner students secure health insurance prior to any clinical experience. Incoming students are advised to plan ahead to attain coverage during the Illinois Marketplace open enrollment period from November 1 to January 31.
