Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony

The Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony is an event that celebrates the achievements of all graduating nursing students. In addition to the presentation of a variety of student awards, students who are completing their first nursing degree will receive a pin, a tradition that marks their transition into the nursing profession.

Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony

Students who receive a pin are encouraged to invite a friend, family member, or mentor who supported them on their educational journey to act as their designated "pinner" during the ceremony.

Date, Time, and Location

A ceremony will be held at the end of each quarter in which nursing students are expected to graduate. The next Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony will be held on Monday, March 19th from 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM in the Lincoln Park Student Center room 120AB.
