Welcome to the College of Science and Health, where science meets humanity and where advanced knowledge aims to advance society. The College of Science and Health (CSH) offers students a wide range of relevant undergraduate and graduate degree programs grounded in liberal learning and positioned at the intersection of theory and application in science and health. In addition, recognizing the importance of science in the world today, CSH offers global experiences that can expand student perspectives and build communities of practice.
CSH encompasses natural and environmental sciences, mathematics, psychology, nursing, and health sciences departments committed to providing the highest quality education. CSH also provides opportunities for every student to engage in authentic research, field, clinical, and laboratory experiences and learning that is reinforced through internships and community engagement. Our interdisciplinary centers and institutes bring together scholars from across academic disciplines and community-based organizations to cultivate transformative research and innovations. We are unique in that we educate our students with a strong commitment to social justice and community engagement. DePaul’s distinguished CSH faculty and staff strives to promote an inclusive environment that supports diverse people and ideas.
Our
alliance with the Rosalind Franklin University of Medical Sciences in North Chicago has created a meaningful connection to health careers through accelerated pathway offerings for students interested in medicine, podiatry, pharmacy, physical therapy, or as physicians’ assistants. Additionally, for practicing nurses or college graduates interested in pursuing nursing, view the
School of Nursing website to learn more about acceleration into our master's program, as well as our doctor of nursing practice options. CSH health programs aid student understanding of health disparities and best practices.
CSH continuously emphasizes innovation of all of our academic programs through active review, development, and launch of new and reinvigorated science and health programs.
We invite you to visit our campus in-person or virtually, tour our facilities, and talk with our students, faculty, and staff.
Sincerely,
Stephanie T. Dance-Barnes, Ph.D.
Dean, College of Science and Health
