Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony

The Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony is an event that celebrates the achievements of all graduating nursing students. In addition to the presentation of a variety of student awards, students who are completing their first nursing degree will receive a pin, a tradition that marks their transition into the nursing profession.

Students who receive a pin are encouraged to invite a friend, family member, or mentor who supported them on their educational journey to act as their designated "pinner" during the ceremony.
