Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony

​​​​​​The Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony is an event that celebrates the achievements of all graduating nursing students. In addition to the presentation of a variety of student awards, students who are completing their first nursing degree will receive a pin, a tradition that marks their transition into the nursing profession. 

Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony

Students who receive a pin are encouraged to invite a friend, family member, or mentor who supported them on their educational journey to act as their designated "pinner" during the ceremony.

Date, Time, and Location

A ceremony will be held at the end of each quarter in which nursing students are expected to graduat​e. The next Nursing Honors and Pinning Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 10:30 AM in the Lincoln Park Student Center, room 120AB. Doors open at 10:00 AM.
