The Department of Mathematical Sciences is home to more than two dozen full-time faculty, and to more than a dozen part-time adjunct faculty.
Almost every student at DePaul University will take a course from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at some point in his or her academic career. Most of our undergraduate courses are offered as day classes at DePaul's Lincoln Park Campus, but we also offer day and evening courses at DePaul's Loop Campus to fit the needs of students in the Driehaus College of Business and the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media.
In addition to serving our Mathematics majors, the mid- and upper-division courses in our undergraduate program also serve students majoring in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Computer Science, and Secondary Education, as well as students from throughout the natural and social sciences.
Most of the courses in our graduate program are offered in the evenings at the Lincoln Park Campus, with the exceptions of the Mathematics Education and Mathematics for Teaching programs, which are primarily offered on weekends at the Lincoln Park Campus.
The Department of Mathematical Sciences is the home of the College of Science and Health's
Statistical Consulting Center. The Statistical Consulting Center provides internal and external clients with expert statistical assistance at all stages of the research process.
