The Statistical Consulting Center (SCC) is housed in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and it is part of the Centers and Institutes of the College of Sciences and Health. The SCC provides statistical assistance in all stages of quantitative research by both internal clients at DePaul University and external clients in government agencies, non-profit organizations, and industry. These services include:
- Designing experiments or surveys and sampling design
- Programming and data visualization using appropriate software for data analysis
- Assisting with and interpretation of data analysis
- Writing up statistics, methods, and data analysis sections of grant proposals and manuscripts for publication
- Referring to statistical specialists when required
