The Catalyst is the official blog of the DePaul Department of Chemistry. The goal of The Catalyst is to foster a sense of community in the department, promote special events, and communicate noteworthy developments with alumni, faculty, staff, and students.
Before its online form, The Catalyst was a print newsletter. From 2005 to 2013, it was published by the department's Development Committee. Before 2005, The Catalyst newsletter was produced and distributed by our student Chemistry Club. As a blog, the department continues the tradition of this newsletter in a medium that will reach a wider audience.
