Advance your nursing career

DePaul’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program will give you the leadership, business and research skills you need to work effectively with advanced health care providers, administrators and researchers. You’ll develop the clinical skills necessary to create and implement treatment plans, and you’ll master the tools to improve outcomes, safety and quality of care for your patients and their families.

Choose one of the following required tracks:

  • Adult-Gerontological Nurse Practitioner
  • Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Nurse Anesthetist (in conjunction with NorthShore Health Systems)
  • DNP Completion – Nurse Anesthetist
  • DNP Completion – Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Midwife

Classes are offered online and at the Lincoln Park Campus.

Learn from professors like Joseph Tariman, PhD, RN, who has published numerous articles on multiple myeloma and ethical frameworks for decision-making in nursing practice and research. Professor Tariman was recently inducted into the American Academy of Nursing as a Fellow for his significant contributions to myeloma nursing.
