Assistant Professor at Grinnell College
Christy graduated from DePaul in 2014, before earning her PhD at the University of Oregon in 2020. From 2020-2023 she was a Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor working in the UCLA Math Department, and she is now an Assistant Professor in the mathematics department at Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. She does research in Algebraic Topology and also teaches undergraduate and graduate math courses.
What is your favorite DePaul memory?
My favorite memories from DePaul are probably just spending time in the math department doing homework and helping in the tutoring lab. There was a great sense of community in the department, and you could always find someone to chat about math with or play cards with if you were feeling less productive.
