Welcome to the Department of Health Sciences! We prepare students to improve health at multiple levels, from individual care to community wide change. Our programs combine natural and social sciences perspectives to advance human health collaboratively.
Undergraduate Program - Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences
Our flexible BS degree lets you explore your interests while preparing for your next step.
Bioscience Concentration - Ideal for students pursuing medical school, nursing, physician assistant programs, and other clinical careers. Students choose electives across the natural sciences, including key prerequisites for professional health programs.
- Public Health Sciences Concentration - Ideal for students interested in improving community health through intervention, epidemiology, policy, and advocacy. Students choose electives across the social sciences to build a strong foundation in population health.
Graduate Program - Master of Public Health
Our MPH equips you with the knowledge and practical experience to lead in public health. Students choose a concentrations in Community Health Practice or Social Epidemiology.
We also offer combined degree and accelerated programs that allow qualified students to start their careers in health even sooner!
