Nurture curiosity and instill a love of science

The Master’s in Science Education will enhance your content knowledge and the skills you need to be a master teacher. This program encourages and models the skills of scientific inquiry as well as the curiosity, openness to new ideas and skepticism that characterize the study of science. You’ll be equipped with the latest research on how students learn science and gain new approaches for aligning your curriculum with Next Generation Science Standards.

The Science Education MS program is designed specifically for in-service K-12 teachers and can be completed in two years. This is a cohort-based program, and classes meet online or in the evenings on our Lincoln Park Campus.

For international students: this is a STEM-designated program, which can qualify you to extend your post-graduation stay in the United States.
