How to Join Psi Chi:
Before submitting your application for Psi Chi membership, you must be sure that you meet all the requirements:
1. Must be enrolled as a student at DePaul University
2. Must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.25
3. Must have a minimum psychology GPA of 3.50
4. Must be at least a second-semester sophomore
5. Must be enrolled as a major or minor in a psychology program
6. Must have completed at least 14 (3.5 classes) quarter hours of psychology courses.
How do I apply?
- Complete the application on the Psi Chi website.
- Email Dr. Zimmerman or Dr. Luhrs to say that you applied online and attach a complete copy of your unofficial transcript (NOT your course history report).
- If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will be approved by one of us and receive an email from Psi Chi requesting that you pay for your membership online (They will provide you with a payment link.).
- You will have a limited time to pay for your lifetime membership ($60). About 24 hours after Psi Chi receives your payment, you will receive a Welcome New Member email from Psi Chi. If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please check your junk/clutter/spam folder.
WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DUE?
There is a rolling deadline. The earlier you apply, the earlier you can become a member and gain access to member benefits.
