A demographic survey is administered to Intro Psych subject pool participants at the beginning of each quarter. Researchers who wish to include additional screening questions or measures in prescreening should create an online study in the Experiment Management System with the questions they want to include and ask the Research Participant Coordinator to add it as a section of the prescreening survey.
As for any other study, prior IRB approval is required. Note that the IRB must specifically approve collecting data through prescreening: Your IRB protocol must specifically identify the exact questions you plan to include, and must state that you plan to include them in the "Intro Psych Prescreening Survey." Planning well in advance is advisable.
