College of Science and Health > Research > Undergraduate Research > Getting Started
DePaul strives to integrate student learning with experiences in the world beyond the classroom. One way the College of Science and Health promotes such learning is to provide our undergraduate students with opportunities to engage in research activities. Many faculty in the college welcome students into their own laboratories to work on projects. The college has relationships with other research-based institutions throughout the Chicago area that gladly welcome DePaul students.
If you are wondering about research, but do not know what it is really all about, you can view a student testimonial on how research can impact an undergraduate's experience in college and beyond.
Once you decide to give research a try, you may want to know how to find a research mentor and get started. In that case, you can view a video made by several College of Science and Health faculty members for pointers on joining a research group.
