College of Science and Health > Research > Undergraduate Research > Getting Funded
The faculty of the College of Science and Health view research as an integral part of each undergraduate student's academic preparation. Consequently, the college provides many funded research opportunities for students, such as the
Undergraduate Summer Research Program, which grants financial awards to undergraduate students in support of summer research projects undertaken in collaboration with a faculty member. Undergraduates also have the opportunity to gain valuable paid research experience by assisting and collaborating with faculty members engaged in their own research projects and scientific activities through the Undergraduate Research Assistant Program. Off-campus paid internships and summer research opportunities can be found through the
Dean's Undergraduate Fellowship and the
DePaul/Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science Summer Research Program.
