Frequently Asked Questions

We do not accept any insurance and our services are free!  Our clinic operates on a donation-based model.  Our mission is to provide speech therapy services free of charge for individuals with communication disorders.  Our clients are more than welcome to donate at a level they think is appropriate to support us with our mission.

Correct!  Our clinic is part of DePaul University which is a 501c3 non-profit organization.  All donations are tax-deductable.

We depend on donations to help us to continue to provide services and reduce the therapy delivery disparity for underserved populations.  A donation of any amount helps and all contributions are tax-deductable.  Your donation will be a gift that will provide for individuals with communication disorders.  If you are interested in making a donation, please visit our giving page.

The DePaul Speech and Language Clinic is located on DePaul University's campus in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood.  We are open to serve all residents of Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.  Visit our contact page for specifics on how to reach the clinic.

As of right now, we are developing groups that fit well with the needs of our clients.

The clinic is open and accepting new clients for screenings and evaluations.  Beginning in January, 2022, accepted clients will start therapy sessions.  You may reach out today to begin the process of becoming a client.

We focus on creating individualized treatment plans for each client based on their needs and schedule.  We can offer therapy sessions on weekly or bi-weekly schedules.
