Ana Goya Arce is a graduate student in DePaul's Clinical-Child Psychology PhD program. Her research interests include exploring different factors contributing to outcomes in treatment with underrepresented groups and tailoring evidence-based treatments to better serve them. She is also interested in exploring cultural values and acculturative stress as risk or protective factors for the development of anxiety, low self-esteem, and poor body image. Lastly, she is interested in exploring the role that perfectionism and social anxiety play in the development and maintenance of negative psychiatric outcomes.
