Alexandra Barnett is a clinician at DePaul FCS, specializing in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. She is completing her PhD in Clinical-Child Psychology at DePaul University. Her work focuses on how parents, teachers and mental health professionals can use preventative interventions and strength-based services to aid at-risk urban youth. Prior to joining the FCS, Barnett was a Project Associate at the New York University Child Study Center, where she facilitated a teacher, parent and social worker training program to help students from New York City public schools reach their full potential. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brandeis University in 2009.
