Iu-Luen Jeng, LCPC, ATR, is a licensed clinical
professional counselor and a staff therapist at DePaul FCS. She received her
undergraduate degree in psychology from National Taiwan University in Taiwan,
and graduated with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy at the School of the Art
Institute of Chicago. Over the past several years, she has provided clinical services
and supervised students in a concerted effort to develop mental health leaders
in the LGBTQ community. As a bilingual therapist specializing in art therapy,
she provides a broad perspective of the therapy process and creativity. She
considers how cultural systems, trauma, and artistic expression impact personal growth. With extensive work experience with adolescents, couples and
young adults, clients often seek out support for issues such as depression,
anxiety, PTSD and family dynamics. She also helps clients understand and
explore their sexuality, gender, cultural identity, and body image. She is
passionate about diversity and social justice.
