As a Teaching Associate Professor, I contribute to the development and teaching of community and clinical psychology principles within the psychology department. My efforts extend beyond the department to foster engaged pedagogy across the College of Science and Health (CSH). I teach topics on belonging, inclusion, social justice, and wellness to diverse audiences while providing mentorship and support for student success in collaboration with the advising team. As the Ambassador for the DEI Committee, I lead initiatives aligned with our department's mission and the University's Vincentian values. I also serve on the Belonging Committee to enhance students' sense of safety and visibility, as well as the CSH DEI Committee, collaborating with colleagues across departments. My research focuses on assessing institutional practices related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in university settings, along with coordinating studies on culturally adapted interventions in secondary schools and evaluating inclusion policies for students with diverse abilities.
