Dr Barron received her BSN from Northern Illinois University in 1998, and her Masters of Science in Nursing Education in 2012. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2020 from Duquesne University in Pittsburg. Dr. Barron has worked in telemetry, emergency medicine, and home health. She has worked in nursing education since 2012 at the community college level and has been working at DePaul University since 2018. Dr. Barron serves as the MENP associate director at the Lincoln Park campus since 2023.
