Dr. Li earned her PhD in Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics in 2016 from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining the faculty at DePaul in 2020, Dr. Li held postdoctoral appointments at Louisiana State University from 2018-2020, at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM) at Brown University in 2017, and at the ​Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) at the University of Minnesota from 2016-2017. Dr. Li earned her BS in Pure and Applied Mathematics from Tsinghua University in 2011.

Dr. Li's research interests are in applied analysis, focusing on scattering resonances and inverse problems.
