Emily Sullivan

Emily Sullivan has been a speech-language pathologist at Edward Hines, Jr. VA for 15 years in outpatient and various inpatient units. Her areas of focus are the laryngectomy, voice and gender-affirming populations. She has additional training in manual therapy and myofascial release,

and serves as a national provider in a gender affirming program for speech in the VA system. She has been involved with multiple research endeavors, including a current multi-site high -resolution pharyngeal manometry study with leading researchers in the field. She has presented on topics of alaryngeal communication and manual therapy outcomes, both locally and at national VA conferences.​
