The School of Nursing is located in the heart of the country’s third-largest city, enabling you to experience an extraordinary range of patient populations and practice locations.
With clinical rotations in some of the nation’s top hospitals and
rehabilitation facilities, you’ll gain experience serving the needs of
diverse populations. You’ll learn in independent practices as well as
large health care networks.
DePaul
recently invested more than $40 million in new facilities and programs
in its College of Science and Health, including a fully renovated nursing simulation lab in the School of Nursing.
The campus is located at the Fullerton stop
of the CTA’s Red, Brown and Purple lines and is easily accessible from
Lake Shore Drive and the Kennedy Expressway.
Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago
Now you can earn DePaul’s highly regarded Master’s Entry to Nursing Practice degree on the campus of Rosalind Franklin University as well. You’ll learn from DePaul faculty members on one of the most comprehensive health sciences campuses in the Midwest. Rosalind Franklin is recognized as a national leader in interprofessional education—teaching
all members of the health care team how to work together most
effectively—and offers doctorates in medicine, pharmacy, podiatric
medicine, physical therapy and more. Its health and medicine facilities
are state of the art.
Rosalind Franklin is located in North
Chicago, about 35 miles north of DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus. It’s
adjacent to the newly established Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health
Care Center, comprised of the former North Chicago Veterans
Administration Hospital and Great Lakes Navy Base Hospital. The campus
is near US 41 and the I-294 toll way; a free shuttle bus connects you to

The Alliance for Health Sciences
In 2012, DePaul and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science established the Alliance for Health Sciences.
The faculties of DePaul and Rosalind Franklin work together to design
curricula that emphasize interprofessional collaboration and hands-on
experience.
As a nursing student, this means you’ll
have the opportunity to learn side-by-side with students who represent
your future colleagues. You’ll have a natural connection to the health
professionals who teach at Rosalind Franklin, complementing the
professionals you meet during clinical rotations. And, you may have the
opportunity to participate in research conducted through the Rosalind
Franklin campus.
