Be close to everywhere.

With a centrally located campus in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, an alliance that connects you with other health care professionals, and clinical rotations offered throughout the metropolitan area, DePaul’s School of Nursing offers you a superior array of facilities and practice settings.

DePaul University, Lincoln Park Campus

The School of Nursing is located in the heart of the country’s third-largest city, enabling you to experience an extraordinary range of patient populations and practice locations. With clinical rotations in some of the nation’s top hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, you’ll gain experience serving the needs of diverse populations. You’ll learn in independent practices as well as large health care networks.

DePaul recently invested more than $40 million in new facilities and programs in its College of Science and Health, including a fully renovated nursing simulation lab in the School of Nursing.

The campus is located at the Fullerton stop of the CTA’s Red, Brown and Purple lines and is easily accessible from Lake Shore Drive and the Kennedy Expressway.

Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago

Now you can earn DePaul’s highly regarded Master’s Entry to Nursing Practice degree on the campus of Rosalind Franklin University as well. You’ll learn from DePaul faculty members on one of the most comprehensive health sciences campuses in the Midwest. Rosalind Franklin is recognized as a national leader in interprofessional education—teaching all members of the health care team how to work together most effectively—and offers doctorates in medicine, pharmacy, podiatric medicine, physical therapy and more. Its health and medicine facilities are state of the art.

Rosalind Franklin is located in North Chicago, about 35 miles north of DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus. It’s adjacent to the newly established Capt. James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, comprised of the former North Chicago Veterans Administration Hospital and Great Lakes Navy Base Hospital. The campus is near US 41 and the I-294 toll way; a free shuttle bus connects you to the Lake Bluff Metra train station. The Alliance for Health Sciences

In 2012, DePaul and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science established the Alliance for Health Sciences. The faculties of DePaul and Rosalind Franklin work together to design curricula that emphasize interprofessional collaboration and hands-on experience.

As a nursing student, this means you’ll have the opportunity to learn side-by-side with students who represent your future colleagues. You’ll have a natural connection to the health professionals who teach at Rosalind Franklin, complementing the professionals you meet during clinical rotations. And, you may have the opportunity to participate in research conducted through the Rosalind Franklin campus.
