The DePaul STEM Center partners with the Math Circles of Chicago (MC2) to provide professional development workshops for teachers interested in developing their practice around teaching problem solving and inquiry. MC2 is a free math enrichment program with 8 sites across the city, with a mission to create opportunities for all children across Chicago to develop a passion for mathematics. In the fall 2020 MC2 will be launching its new Math Circles in a Box program, which will pay middle school teachers to lead math enrichment sessions in their local after school programs. Learn more about teaching in MC2 here.

The STEM Center also collaborates with DePaul's Math Department, Loyola University, and others to promote the Chicago Math Teacher's Circle.  Area professors and instructors lead monthly sessions through the school year where classroom teachers get the opportunity to experience problem solving inquiry with colleagues by attempting interesting problems in a group setting.
