The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry offers plenty of opportunities for students to receive help outside of the classroom. General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry lecture sections are often assigned Supplemental Instruction leaders who also have office hours and hold recitation sessions. Most, if not all, laboratory sections have teaching assistants who hold a minimum of one office hour per week. You are free to visit any office hour you choose to if your teaching assistant's hour does not overlap with your schedule.
