If you’re a registered nurse with a master’s degree, a DePaul post-master’s certificate will give you the coursework and skills you need to sit for the certification exam. We offer two certificates:
Classes for both are offered at the Lincoln Park Campus and online.
The Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner graduate certificate program is approved as a Gainful Employment Program through the US Department of Education and is, therefore, eligible for Federal Student Aid.
The Family Nurse Practitioner graduate certificate program is approved as a Gainful Employment Program through the US Department of Education and is, therefore, eligible for Federal Student Aid.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Submit an online application, personal statement, résumé, official transcripts and letters of recommendation.
You’ll complete 11 courses (44 hours) to complete the certificate, including 600 clinical hours.
DePaul recently invested more than $40 million in new College of Science and Health facilities and programs, including a fully renovated nursing simulation lab
of 2017 Nursing graduates surveyed were employed or continuing their education within six months of graduation.
