Chicago Area Undergraduate Research Symposium (CAURS)
This is an annual symposium for undergraduates from DePaul, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, UIC, IIT, and Loyola University. Held each spring, CAURS provides students an opportunity to present their research, engage in discussions with colleagues, and to attend plenary and round-table discussions. Learn more on the

Chicago Council on Science and Technology (C2ST)
C2ST offers students, educators, and the Chicago community an opportunity to attend lectures and engage in conversations around timely and important scientific issues. DePaul, through the STEM Center, partners with C2ST on programs and events. Learn more on the C2ST website.
Illinois Louis Stokes - Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP)
DePaul is one 15 colleges, universities, and research institutions in the Illinois Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ILSAMP). The goal of ILSAMP is to improve the quality of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education for underrepresented students, and to increase the number of undergraduate and graduate degrees awarded to underrepresented minority students in STEM disciplines. The Consortium provides opportunities and funding for undergraduate research and hosts an annual student research conference. ILSAMP is funded by the National Science Foundation and is one of many LSAMP programs nation-wide. Learn more on the LSAMP

Funding opportunities provided by the Illinois Space Grant Consortium
The Illinois Space Grant Consortium funds undergraduate and graduate student researchers working with DePaul faculty on NASA related research and provides scholarships for Chicago Public School math and science teachers taking graduate courses at DePaul that embed NASA related materials.
