Internships and Employment

Internships

Students enrolled in the Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Financial Mathematics concentrations are strongly encouraged to participate in the University Internship Program. This program facilitates internships at many well-known local companies, such as Allstate, North American, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CNA, Capital One, and Zurich. Internship fairs are held periodically to give students an opportunity to meet with representatives of these and other companies, and to explore the possibilities of corporate internships. Interested students should contact the DePaul Career Center.

Student Employment

The Mathematical Sciences Department hires a number of students each quarter to work as tutors in one of the Department's undergraduate tutoring labs. Mathematics majors with advanced standing can also apply to work as a grader for various lower- and upper-level mathematics courses. The application for these positions can be found here:
