The Department of Biological Sciences offers many resources to help students accomplish their goals. Upon choosing Biological Sciences as a major, students are assigned an advisor to help them with scheduling, course selection, and other academic issues.
Our building has a dedicated student study lounge containing a number of reference texts, as well as open spaces such as our central atrium where students can meet to work on projects or just find some friends.
Computers and print stations are available for students to do assignments, check their email, or any other online needs. The entire building has wireless access so that students can use their own laptops to connect to the internet. Our office staff connects students with information on courses, schedules, departmental opportunities, and other university resources.
