Committee Charge
The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee seeks to increase awareness of diversity and maintain and inclusive environment through sponsoring of programming for all members of the college, advising the dean on professional development needs and opportunities related to DEI, recognizing college faculty, staff and students who have made a commitment to DEI, publicizing information about diversity related events within the college and throughout the university, and encouraging and celebrating diversity within the college.
Support Services for Students, Faculty and Staff

- The Office of Academic Affairs strives to improve academic quality, teaching excellence, and scholarly research, all in a diverse and inclusive campus environment.
- A list of Affinity Groups may be viewed on DeHub.
- The Dean of Students Office is primarily responsible for meeting the urgent needs of students by providing clear and critical support structures in times of need.
- The Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity (OIDE) works to coordinate a myriad of diversity resources, information, and procedures, both internally and externally to the university community.
- The Employee Relations and Equal Employment Opportunity (ER/EEO) team takes a natural leadership role in serving both employees and managers while addressing workplace issues and concerns.
- The Institutional Research and Market Analytics (IRMA) office collects data to provide evidence-based support for dialogs about diversity and advocacy for change.
- The Division of Mission and Ministry supports students efforts to cultivate opportunities for community engagement and systemic change that embodies the Vincentian mission of the university.
- The Division of Student Affairs works to meet the individual needs of each student and provide useful resources for overcoming challenging circumstances.
