Our Standards for Service

A Commitment to Quality Care

We endeavor to provide families with the best service possible. We hope you will participate actively in our efforts to deliver and evaluate the services that are offered.

A Commitment to Protection of Privacy

Many people worry about whether the information they share with a therapist will be confidential. Your confidentiality is of the highest priority. No information about you or your family will be shared with any other source outside DePaul FCS without your informed, written consent. There will be a record of your treatment at DePaul FCS, which you may have access to if you arrange to do so with your therapist. No person outside of DFCS may see any parts of your record without your written consent. We follow the guidelines put forth by HIPAA and the Illinois Mental Health Code.

Client Responsibilities

Consistent attendance for sessions significantly improves the progress that your family will make in treatment. Therefore, we urge that you cancel sessions only in serious emergencies. If you must cancel a session, your responsibility will be to call DePaul FCS as far in advance as possible.
