College of Science and Health > Student Resources > Office of Advising & Student Services > Undergraduate Advising > Forms > CSH LSP Substitution Request
This form is to be used by undergraduate students who are seeking to substitute a class they have taken for a Liberal Studies Program (LSP) requirement. Because the university offers a wide variety of approved LSP courses each term, using a non-approved course to meet a LSP requirement requires an exceptionally strong argument coupled with appropriate documentation to demonstrate how a class meets the learning outcomes and writing expectations of the LSP requirement domain. Before submitting a substitution request, you are expected to familiarize yourself with the proposed domain's learning outcomes and writing expectations, all of which may be found at the Liberal Studies Program website.
Please follow all instructions carefully when completing this form.
