Dr. Cirrincione joined DePaul University in Spring 2023 as an Adjunct Faculty member within the Masters of Occupational Therapy Program. Dr. Cirrincione is currently an outpatient clinical practitioner at Lurie Children's Health Services in Arlington Heights. Her clinical specialty is children and youth with sensory integration challenges, feeding disorders, and upper extremity orthopedic and neurologic conditions. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cirrincione is active in professional advocacy. She is an Ambassador for the American Occupational Therapy Political Action Committee (AOTPAC) and former chair of the Illinois Occupational Therapy Political Action Committee (ILOTPAC). Dr. Cirrincione enjoys being a voice for occupational therapy practitioners and the value of the profession.
Dr. Cirrincione has guest lectured at OTA and MSOT programs. She has also presented frequently at state conferences and is an invited lecturer for staff training on sensory integration at health care clinics around the Chicago area. Dr. Cirrincione has written several articles for the ILOTA publication, Communique and was primary author for a book chapter on assistive technology.
Dr. Cirrincione's favorite leisure occupations include spending time with her four grown children, biking, walking her dog, and playing golf. She also enjoys baking, making jellies and preserves as well as canning homemade tomato sauce.
