Kathryn Bernard

Ms. Bernard earned her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, and her M.A. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.  She has worked in acute rehabilitation hospitals with in-patient and out-patient adults and children, acute care hospitals, university settings, therapeutic day schools, and private practice.

Ms. Bernard’s areas of interest include treatment of children and adults with acquired neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury, cognitive-communicative disorders, motor speech disorders, and dysphagia.  She enjoys mentoring graduate students and supervising students in clinical practicum.
