In the Department of Mathematical Sciences we are passionate about sharing our love for the subject. We offer courses in mathematics, statistics, and actuarial science. We host
student groups in each of these areas, and we support a vibrant
research atmosphere. We are also the home of the College of Science and Health's
Statistical Consulting Center.
In the spring of their junior year, undergraduates can apply to enter one of our
combined bachelor’s + master’s degree programs. These programs enable students to complete both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in as few as five years.
