The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, in collaboration with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, has awarded an $100,000 New Careers in Nursing Scholarship Grant to provide scholarships for students entering DePaul's Master's Entry Nursing Program (MENP). This award will provide ten scholarships of $10,000 each to students in the MENP Program for the fall 2011 (five students) and winter 2012 cohorts (five students).

Eligible students must be underrepresented minorities in nursing (African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic American, Native American, Multi-Racial, or male) or economically disadvantaged (as determined by the Office of Financial Aid).

The scholarship is awarded to incoming students in both the fall and winter cohorts. This scholarship is a non-renewable, one-time award. Applications will be made available to interested parties.
