Our faculty members actively support you as you complete the program. Our cohorts are small—about 50 students—so you’ll get the personal attention you need. You’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one on your research with a faculty member with expertise in that field.

Our broad network of clinical sites means you’ll gain experience with different patient populations, practice settings and organizational cultures. We’re one of the few programs to guarantee you a full intensive-care clinical rotation, as well as a clinical immersion internship. Enter nursing at a higher level.
The MENP gives you credentials beyond a baccalaureate nursing degree. You’ll gain strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families and other members of the health care team. You’ll practice the leadership skills that will help you move into administrative, educational or advocacy roles. And, you’ll acquire the research expertise that hospital administrators and medical investigators value.

We offer cohorts starting in the fall (September) and winter (January) quarters at both of our locations:
- DePaul’s Lincoln Park Campus, centrally located and conveniently accessible by public transportation.
- Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, about 35 miles north of Lincoln Park.
